2 September 2025, Qingdao - The second day of the UNESCO/IOC Training on the Application of Ocean Forecast System featured intensive sessions on Indian Ocean data access and research proposal development. Prof. Juliet Clair Hermes from the South African Environmental Observation Network , led practical sessions on Indian Ocean observations and data utilization methods. The courses provided hands-on experience in accessing and processing oceanographic data.   Practical Activity: Designing an Integrated Ocean Observing System
